UN CITY BY 3XN STUDIO, A RISING STAR OF SUSTAINABILITY
A star is born. In Marmormolen to be exact, in the port to the north of Copenhagen. It’s the United Nations office of Copenhagen, a rising star of sustainability, designed by Danish studio 3xN.
Its star shape converges in the center, highlighting the sense of unity of the institution and the building that hosts it. The center of the edifice indeed provides different common spaces dislocated around an illuminated atrium, in which the primary vertical connections to the various levels then ramify.
