Minimalist Designs help to Fight Cancer by Byron Galan.
This minimal poster promotes Indiegogo’s campaign against cancer and illustrates that some things like your cookie doesn’t fit on your glass of milk or stepping on a lego are definitely bad, just not as bad as having cancer.
Byron Galan, a blogger and designer based on El Salvador, recently discovered that his mother was diagnosed with Uterine Cancer in a very advance stage. So in order to help her he begin an Indiegogo’s Campaign to pay her treatment. To promote this campaign he create this clever and funny poster to create awareness through the young people in the social networks. The result was to achieve the goalof $5,000 setted on Indiegogo, but as he said: “$5k is a small amount if you think at the whole treatment, so the campaign is flexible and you can still donate. The real Goal is surpass the $5k and hit the $10k”.
As a perk for US$50 donations, these clever, minimalist posters—which remind us to count our blessings—will be available as limited edition letterpress versions. To make a donation, click here.
