MOVING EMOTIONS: INTERVIEW WITH DESIGNER CONSTANCE GUISSET
Entering the Parisian studio of designer Constance Guisset is like settling into a secret nest. It’s not the lights or the interiors that create a soft atmosphere. The feeling is impalpable and perhaps has more to do with the presence of women in a creative space.
Since 2007 Constance Guisset (born in 1976) has been creating objects, scenography, installations and videos. Her poetic and technical research blend into an idea of movement and lightness, beginning with a reflection on illusion and playful surprise. Her ceiling lamps seem to float like butterflies, the chairs have the dynamism of a dancing dervish, the cutlery is assembled with irony and becomes a game.
