17 Unforgettable Photos From Hurricane Sandy By Alice

CLICK HERE FOR MORE HURRICANE PHOTOS..

Hurricane Sandy slammed into the Northeast last night leaving a trail of destruction including floods, fires, fallen trees and millions without power. John Miksad, senior vice president for electric operations at Consolidated Edison, said, “This will be one for the record books. This will be the largest storm-related outage in our history.”

Now, in its aftermath, we take a look at 17 unforgettable photos that show the devastation it caused in places like New Jersey and New York as well as right inside the Atlantic Ocean. Mayor of New York City Michael Bloomberg said, “Make no mistake about it, this was a devastating storm, maybe the worst that we have ever experienced.”

“But we will get through the days ahead by doing what we always do in tough times, by standing together shoulder to shoulder ready to help a neighbor, comfort a stranger, and get the city we love back on its feet.”

Here, Photography heat is featuring some latest photos of Hurricane Sandy that are captured by Alice.

Alice defining herself in these words:
“I’m a girl who had a dream. I wanted to create an open, friendly environment where we could share our experiences. I wanted it to be a global community where we could learn from each other…where we could connect over our stories”.
She is from Los Angles, CA, US.
