Stranda Ski Resort – Visual identity by Tom Emil Olsen
Large majestic mountain ranges embraces the fjords, creating unique frames for great skiing in the small hamlet on the northwestern coast of Norway. Stranda Skiresort opened its first ski lift in 1957 and has since then been a popular visiting spot for enthusiastic skiers. To breathe new life into the old ski magnet we among other developed a new logo, visual identity and corporate branding guidelines. The work was carried out as part of a communication strategy that was developed to put the ski resort on the map to an even greater extent, both nationally and internationally. Our mission was to present these beautiful and unique surroundings to the rest of the skiing world; A new shining star on the global winter sky. The story is well under way, in a meeting with the press and public, in relation to partners and the international photo and movie recordings with, among others, Burton Snowboards and Nike 6.0.
