Full Metal Jousting

HISTORY is bringing back the most dangerous collision sport in the history of all mankind, and created this interactive graphic to look at how Jousting has been transformed into a 21st-century event. Jousting is being remade to be just as brutal and intense as it was 500 years ago, but there’s a twist: Traditional Armor has been replaced by modern suits of steel, while the action is captured by high-speed cameras. This isn’t some weekend Renaissance fair, and the last man standing will take home big money. Click through to the interactive graphic by HISTORY here.
