That achieved byLina Al Amoudi is a true work of art, the 23 year old UAE was inspired by a story deeply rooted in its culture, the story of Balquis, better known as “The Queen of Sheba,” which tells the story of famous religious figure admired for its mysterious and exotic powers, considered the embodiment of divine wisdom. The external structure of wood symbolizes control over the kingdom of the Queen and her role as a devoted mother. The story is also mentioned as the hoopoe, the iconic bird for many years was a messenger of King Solomon and is finely engraved along all four panels that seem to form a crown symbolic support of the inner lining of the red hat real. At the time the kingdom prospered through trade of spices, and incense was very popular in Saudi essence: Lina through his work was not limited to graphically describe this detail, but was able to stimulate the senses by soaking the fabric of this essence Islamic decoration. The coins attached to the bottom base and the top silver recall the wealth and power, a symbol of the enormous material possessions of the kingdom.
